Resources for nonracism

I make no claim that any of these writers agree with me, only that I have found their writing useful in formulating my own opposition to both Classic Definition racism and Kendiangelonianism.

Heterodox Organizations

  • FAIR (Foundation Against Intolerance and Racism – LOTS of great articles and authors here; many of my recommended authors are also on the FAIR board of advisors)
  • 1776 Unites (again, LOTS of terrific articles; not exclusively focused on race issues, but there is enough here to make their inclusion in this list reasonable)
  • Free Black Thought (pretty much any opinion you can imagine is expressed somewhere here – a fascinating and diverse collection of voices)

Specific writers (single website) with significant content about nonracism

These are people who, as one of them (McWhorter) has said, are “interested in real things rather than recreational angst.”

  • Thomas Sowell
  • Wilfred Reilly – see especially here, here, here and here.
  • Glenn Loury – see especially here and here
  • John McWhorter – his substack site was mentioned above, but he writes many other places as well – see especially here.
  • Walter Williams (now deceased, sadly)
  • Coleman Hughes
  • Larry Elder
  • Shelby Steele
  • Peter Kirsanow
  • Charles Love
  • Ayaan Hirsi Ali
  • Carol Swain
  • Jason Whitlock – see especially here
  • Thomas Chatterton Williams (see here for his personal reading list of books about race)
  • Jason Riley
  • Erec Smith (one of the founders of Free Black Thought)
  • Michael DC Bowen (another of the founders of Free Black Thought)
  • Kmele Foster

Other resources

  • Round table video (2 hours) organized by Bret Weinstein of various writers/thinkers (including many on this list) discussing topics of interest – highly recommended.
  • Article by Xu and Watson about the relationship between CRT and the Civil Rights Movement.
  • Article about CRT and anti-semitism by Pamela Paresky.
  • Interview (video) with Erec Smith about CRT (unable to find transcript so far)
  • Article about the 1619 revisionist history project.
  • Article by Andrew Sullivan on CRT.

Addendum: as time has gone by since originally writing this post, I have found FAIR to be increasingly indispensable. I mentioned them first, and now I want to mention them again last to take advantage of both primacy and recency!
